Um, I am slightly ashamed to say that I bought a pair of laceless backless sneakers from Fear of God from Mr. Porter. I figure that at $125, I can play. I could get them for about the same from SSENSE (with shipping, etc...) but returns are harder, and it's just slower getting over the border during COVID season. Stay safe, guys.

I hate FOG (I feel it’s like fashionova for rich people) but I really like those shoes.

Keep in mind its the essentials diffusion line, and I still stand firmly on the idea that they feel like 40 dollar shoes in person. The sole was literally like foam, the suede and cutting was abysmal. Look okay in pictures, but soooo underwhelming in person. Anything in the essentials line should be sub-$100, but I think they want it to be e a small step down from the mainline, to make the price more attainable for people who like the brand but dont want to spend $$$ for made in italy sneakers. Just so happens that the mainline sneakers hit steep discounts, so that makes more sense to me personally.
