Nuovo Balloon Hopsack on figure.jpg

Hardy Minnis Balloon Hopsack: 2 sportcoats left at an amazing price!

Hey guys.. I want to share a special deal here. I've been working to bring the entire Hardy Minnis Fresco wool collection to our custom production with RTC. I expect to launch it within the next week. It's an amazing lineup of fabric, it's the original fresco cloth, and it's still the best on Earth.

Pricing will be $1695 for a sportcoat, and we'll have a 15% off deal to launch, so $1440 after that.

If you're in the market for an absolutely perfect navy sportcoat, then I've got limited stock in their incredible "Balloon Hopsack." Enough for just two pieces. It's exactly the same fabric that's going to be $1695 retail, but I'm offering these two units at $1250 less 15% .... so $1,100.75.

Here's the whole spiel below, but in a nutshell... it's simply the best pure wool travel sportcoat possible. You can grab it via this item and save a little over $300.

CUSTOM SPORTCOATS IN HARDY MINNIS BALLOON HOPSACK: $1100.75 with code fresco15

Woven in England by Hardy Minnis, this stunning pure wool is lightweight, breathable, and crafted with natural stretch.

Often called "Balloon hopsack" due to its airy nature, this super high-twist yarn has a remarkably open weave. It's opaque when you wear it, but hold it up to the light and you'll see its mesh-like structure. It's wrinkle resistant and makes a great travel companion. The cloth is technically four-season, but works particularly well in warmer temperatures.

ORDER TODAY FOR A GREAT DEAL ON THIS LEGENDARY 4-SEASON FABRIC!

Woven in the United Kingdom by Hardy Minnis and patented in 1907, wool fresco is considered the "ultimate travel cloth"

This high-twist pure wool has an open weave and a smooth hand. It's heavy enough for a proper drape, but airy enough to comfortably wear on a warm day. It's naturally wrinkle resistant and it folds down and packs easily. It's incredibly durable as well.

Our collection features three distinct fabrications:

1) Fresco Lite weighs in at 9oz and is wearable all four seasons. It's the weight of a typical suit, and it's available in a stunning array of colors.

2) Balloon Basketweave Hopsack is 11oz and features a super high-twist open weave. It's both heavier than Fresco Lite and more breathable.

3) Sharkskin Fresco is a 9oz all-season weight and features a plain weave of contrasting yarn colors. It has a subtle sheen and a wonderful old-school character.

With delivery in mid-September, it's the perfect time to order! You can save 15% until midnight tomorrow with the code:

fresco15

The Jaeger Jacket

Hey guys! We just received this beautiful piece for a client. It was commissioned in a heavyweight "Swiss Army" thornproof wool, and trimmed with warm brown suede details. An absolutely stunning makeup!

We're planning to launch a new collection of promo fabrics for this shape next week. The Jaeger is based on our Nuovo sportcoat, and you can customize all of the suede accents as you like.

A client reached out to me for a custom Teba suit in our exclusive Rope-Dyed Stitchwork Indigo Sashiko. I couldn't say "yes" to this idea quickly enough!

This 13oz pure cotton fabric is twisted and rope dyed with indigo. It features both lateral pickstitching and criss-cross "X" stitches in the weave. It's mean to be machine washed and fade with wear.

I started out by washing and drying the cloth five times. I shipped this pre-shrunk bolt to @rtc1899 for production of a Teba jacket on top and a modified Walt trouser on the bottom. These are great as a pair, but also wonderful as separates.

Something is extra special about employing the oldest and finest suit factory in the United States to craft a hunting jacket from Spain in an artisanal fabric from Japan.

Holler if you'd like to commission one for yourself!

Hey guys! We're closing the discount on the "Alpine Loden" project today. You'll still be able to order these pieces later, but today's the deadline to get 15% off and get delivery by end October. There's no code required, the sale pricing is already live on the site.

The video above shows off the sample garments that we made in this fabric. You can see the categories to order here:

There's a long description in the items, but the TLDR is:

1) Alpine Loden is an Italian-made heavyweight blend of 75% wool and 25% nylon

2) It's extremely warm, remarkably wind resistant, and will keep light precipitation out. It's perfect for the Fall/Winter

3) It's very durable. You can consider these pieces to be an investment which you can wear year after year.

To date, the trouser has actually been the most popular shape. Really heavyweight trousers are difficult to find, and if you live somewhere cold, then these will be a lifesaver in the dead of Winter.

If you have any last minute questions, feel free to use the chat function of my site. I get the messages in real time.

Speaking of RTC, our good friend Bert Sperling sent in some pics in his Pendleton mid-century wool suit.

This was such a rad product to make. Vintage American made wool, tailored into a suit by the oldest and best facility in the USA. And it looks freaking great on him. This fabric is totally sold out, but I'm always offering new limited goods.

A client in the UAE commissioned this absolutely stunning Nuovo sportcoat in genuine @HarrisTweed

This "Bark" colorway is a beautiful medium brown tone with elements of olive & wheat.

Our client chose a set of burgundy suede elbow patches, which makes for a great color accent...

Quick heads up: it's the last day for that Harris Tweed 20% off code. Usually I can be kind of flexible with the deadlines, but we're ordering cloth in bulk first thing in the morning, so this really is the last call for it.
