pics coming

Can't wait!

I just ordered a Marshall Studio 15 online, which some people say sounds like a low watt Jubilee... how is your jubilee treating you?

the Jubi is a great amp. Kind of reminds me of the best parts of the 800, 900, and 2000 but can do an easy power break.

first pics that I was sent. I'll take more (and better) pics when I'm upstate in June)

He took it in to his shop for a look over and a setup, and the guy offered him $200 over what he paid for it.

Looking forward to giving it a go.

Bought some old black M69s to do the snowy white thing. Next up is a refret! Anyone know what size frets they use on modern LP reissues?

I have owned a bunch of LP Jr's and the well played and worn ones almost always play and sound the best. I've had two dead mint ones and they just didn't have it.

Anyone ever play a 70s Hamer? How do they compare to 50s Gibsons?

Had the opportunity to get down on a few of Charles Whitfill's Custom Tele's the other day. Killer guitars. Best playing "T-Style" guitars I've ever picked up.

Went to Carter's Vintage in Nashville not too long ago and hit this Benedetto and this Campellone for a lick or two as well. Both were beautiful pieces of wood with exceptional craftsmanship and both played extremely well.

Debating going after a '65 AV or a Nash s-63. Tell me why each are good, and which is better...?

No thoughts on Nash as a repro builder as opposed to Fender vintage reissues?

Only that it is easier to resell a Fender.

I never know if I will keep a guitar until I've had it for a month or two. Many get sold, so I always consider that option in the price and ability to flip it.

Nash is just a partscaster rebuilder, right? Probably better off going to Suhr or Anderson or one of those types if you really want something other than a Fender.
