I couldn’t help it and picked these Corbett Walking Boots up, mainly for walking in the woods and hiking when I plan to stick mainly to trails. When I’m really exploring the woods here in Sweden I always wear a pair of high Lundhags which have lots of protection, but I’ve wanted a pair of good looking and well made re-soleable hiking boots for a long time. And these are it.

I actually went on a 7km hike with them today, their first wear, and they were surprisingly comfortable! Usually I’d only wear a new pair of any boots for maybe 1-2km on their first outing, but they felt pretty good so I just kept going.

So far I love them.

Hello,
I am going to buy my first pair of Tricker's boots in last 4497s. I have 270 mm foot length. What size can you recommend me? Or can you compare 4497s with C&J's 335 last? Should I take same size? Thank you for advices.

I'm not sure, but my feet are 285mm with socks and a size 10 is fine (half a size down from the Tricker's size chart). You should be able to reference from that, likely an UK8.5-9 in 4497s.

They fit true to size with a little bit extra room in the toe area. Not enough to warrant a wider G-fit, which they also offer with the 6-fit Malton.

Just attaching the trickers sizing guide for your quick reference.
As per the chart you should be size 9. My foot length is 272mm(without sock)and UK size 9.5 fits me well in 4497 fit 5 . I wear UK size 9 in 4497 fit 6. I found UK size 9 in fit 5 to be bit short ,even though volume wise fit was ok.

Thank you, but where can I find what fit boots has - 5 or 6? I can't see it on their detail page.
