Does anyone know how the chukkas compare to stows in terms of sizing? Should I take the same size as in stows?

Depends upon the chukka. Aldo is on 2298 so fit a bit snugger than Stow on 4497 but I’d still take the same size. Mike chukka is on 4497 so same as Stow. In any case, chukka won’t feel as “locked in” compared to a Stow.

Funny you should mention them. My favourite pair of Tricker’s is this sample sale chukka in Peanut suede kudu on a Vibram soft sole. Bought it on a whim and have ended up using it the most of all my pairs. As @zippyh says the fit is looser but I use them a lot in summer and they work very well as an alternative to sneakers and are hardy enough to take for lighter forest walks etc.

No experience with 2161. TBH, except for 4444 most all Trickers lasts fit true to size (for whatever that means).

The chukkas im looking at are Guildfords, in the 2161 last. Anyone familiar with that?

I bought the black calf Guildford during the recent holiday sale. I am very pleased with the fit and quality. It has a rounded comfortable toe box. I wear a 9.5D US and 8.5 E UK. I saw that all of the unsold sale inventory went to the outlet store. They had a flash sale last week offering an additional 20% off and free shipping so I purchased the Guildford in the brown Mufflone color for $280.00. Tricker’s ships promptly DHL. It looks like this boot is being discontinued. I like that I can dress down or up with the Guildford.
