I've been having a wee look at the bureau myself. Some natural cxl stows that caught my eye. Are these all made to normal trickers standards?

Yes, they are certainly made to normal Tricker's standards. I have three pairs of Bourton's and the CXL boots are certainly as good, if not better than the shoes. Paying homage to my own weirdness, I often pop up stairs just to have a look at them. Only when I am not wearing them though.

Haha, I'd like to say that's not weird but I think honesty is a virtue on these forums.

My budget was around £250 but having seen the Belfast Bureau Stows it's just gone up a little bit to £500.

I believe it is based on a style popularised during Norman times.

Well, the French are generally considered a stylish bunch, so that sounds promising;)

If anyone has practical experience with the 10660 last, I'd be grateful to hear about it. There's generally little to be read on Tricker's formal/town shoes; I wonder if they're just under the radar because people think of Tricker's as a country footwear brand, or if there are other reasons too.
