Agreed, the one caveat being the limited styles and sizes. Nothing for me sadly.

I'm just checking outy some Axtons in gold on ebay. Anyone got experience of the W2298 last? It says TTS as it does with Stows buy it looks slimmer than stows to me in the photos. Slimmer is no good as I'm pushing it with 5 fit as it is.

Standard black calf, but shot in pretty mellow sunlight and mounted after a treatment with Collonil's Crème de Luxe (Black), which gives them a soft, silk-matt touch.
(Btw, I like that product, but don't consider the black coloured version essential and when used up, I will pick the black polish from RM Williams I have or try something else in the future.)

My stows are a bit roomier than hok/rod, but I don’t feel that much difference, I can wear both the same size but the hok I have feels a bit more snug

Thanks for the input, that's really helpful. Could you say if they are comparable in terms of length? Kinda afraid my feet could be too long.
