ok gents i think we have the best of both worlds in the makeup. this is the makeup going forward

I think light brown would look great. Now that I think of it my green Lw boots have the light brown eyelets and it's a good looking pairing which when paired with tan laces looks pretty darn good.

Anyone familiar with both Loake and Tricker's lasts?
I'm tts about 12.5-13US though I have pretty narrow heels and long toes so I have Loake Colt lasted boots sized down to 11UK (otherwise snug fit but generous around ankle and heel).

I'm wondering what size Stows ie last 4497s should I try. My best guess is 12UK since the last seems quite round, low and stubby...
Anyone tried the both?

Well, my thoughts on green boots or any other kind of pushing the fashion forward edge are:

1) nice, cuffed denim jeans

2) stay casual and edgy on top, for example, black denim or leather jacket and t-shirt.  IMHO, nothing fancy or dandyish on top.

@Carson you ever get the icky, that sticky that cipresso green boot fix satisfied?

@Namor, these green and blue shell boot makeups are going to be dope. Unfortunately, I'm not sure that I would get much wear out of them due to my style and wardrobe. I can't wait to see pics once they're done though!
