I just broke down and got these for $220 shipped used. There's another on ebay in UK 8 but the heel is worn to ****.

Your photos pushed me to just accept the surcharge for the drip. Couldn't get the guy off Poshmark.

Sounds like a good deal. And lovely photos/composition as well. I picked up my Stows (new) for 245 GBP sometime back which I thought was a good price, 220 USD is an even better price for what looks like almost new boots.

Haha, thank you! 👊

I had worries they could be too reddish for my taste, but I like the balance of brown and red and when I opened the box I said loudly "YES!". The first picture features a stronger sun, which amplifies the red, the second picture meets more my overall impression of the colour and the tonal darkness.

Don't know if I had made the exchange, if these had been Sign Kudu. Moss! Yeah, I have seen the new Kudu Moss Stow and got pretty nervous. Probably. Maybe.
Originally I thought I should add a Stow in Espresso, but I have a Burford and Bourton in Espresso and these Polo Kudus rendered that idea obsolete, at least for a while. And I also have a Stow and Bourton in Acorn, so there' some variety in the Tricker's corner. Black Burfords are guaranteed for me, the rest will somehow happen. :-D

Have you thought about the Caramel? It's actually a great color with a lot of variation/character. Probably my most word color.

Yes, as it's gorgeous and quite a very special shade I have. Talking boots only (no shoes) I have ten shades of brown, the majority are dark to mid brown and three of those are Tricker's - my two Stows and the Burford.
I always try to not cross the fine line between madness and insanity, at least that's the idea, so I don't see another brown boot ... well ... unless it's for sale. 🤡

I had the chance to switch my first and too big Burfords for these Stows and got lucky. The Polo Kudu is lovely soft and pliable, and the colour is a great addition to my Espresso and Acorn Trickers.

These photos are making me wish I got this model. Looks incredible. I often prefer a contrasting welt/edge, but this just looks so right. I wonder how similar the new snuff kudu model is in comparison to this.

Funny, I was just thinking the same thing....ready to pull the trigger for a pair of Bourton in Espresso and had to remind myself I just got the Durham in Polo....lol

ps. Coincidentally wearing my Polo Stows today.

I had asked @SumDude about it and please see his very helpful comments and pictures showing Sign next to Snuff and Polo next to Snuff from #22.607 to #22.613 .
These Polo Kudu Stows are my only Kudus. Looking at them and at his photos I'd say there right in the middle, probably a bit closer to Snuff given the dark tonality, but then closer to Sign given the red hue that seems to be pretty minimal in the Snuff. However I have learned from this thread that there is quite some variation how a Kudu colour turns out.

Yeah! How many shades of brown does a man need? If it's less about collecting than wearing, the perception of redundancy enters the mind a bit earlier. :-D

That's a shame. The snuff looks great, but the polo seems more special. Next time they run a polo Stow, Eaton, or Bourton I may have to make a purchase.

"Special" is a good word! While the Snuff Kudu is also special, the Polo gives more variety or difference if Espresso is already in your stock. At least that's how I feel.

Tricker’s worn since last post.

I got two new pairs in today. A pair of plain black calf Bourtons and a DR collab Stow

From now on you're also known as KuduDude!

I don't know the first one, but from there from left to right it's Caramel - Sign - Polo - Snuff, right?

KuduDude should go to @Crafty Cumbrian or @zippyh. 😁 I am still trying to strive to their level one day.

The first is Marron Muflone, which is as soft as kudu. I didn’t include the waxy kudu DR collaboration which is probably as dark or more as the Snuff.
