Greetings everyone,
I quickly looked around this thread and couldn't find anything specific about the new dry wax styles. Also did a site search here and came up empty. And the Barbour site doesn't appear to have information about it.
Does anyone know which styles currently use the new dry wax? Has anyone seen those in person, and what is your opinion of the feel and texture?
Thanks!

I’m not a fan. Give me old school wax anyway. Sylkoil is very nice, too. But thornproof ftw.

Hu zippyh, thanks for your answer. To be honest, I wasnt even sure what the name of the model was? I thought it was an Explorer Jacket, however I do believe you are right, Hemmingford. :)

I need an S or M. If anybody know on where to buy it let me know. I have seen some online, however the website dont look legit...

It might be long gone by now, but the model name is usually on a tag inside the inner chest pocket.
There are *lots* of shady as hell Barbour scam sites.
This place looks legit though. https://www.londontradingcompany.com/product/ST-33543/Barbour-Hemmingford

I bought a Barbour Ogston in the lightweight 4oz, I really like it. My year old Ashby must have a plastic liner and as soon as I wear it for more than a few minutes I get way too hot. No such problem with the Ogston.

think that's the same for everyone. there is plastic - you can see it on the tail? depending on the color, some have more or less plastic. blue has plastic in the weave of the cotton as well.

Just passing by but can anyone shed a light on why some Barbour Bedale jackets have the Barbour name in gold lettering on the pocket?
