What difference between the Ashby and the Bedale ?
They both look the same to me online.

Mostly just fit. Ashby is a slimmer fit. There are probably some differences in the details depending upon year.
There's also the Bedale SL which is a slim fit Bedale originally made for the Asia market I think.

Ashby is slimmer, different corduroy, no ribbed cuffs, slightly longer, synthetic sleeve liners, and hidden side vent buttons.

Not sure if they are exclusively make in UK.

I bought a used but not a used Beaufort off eBay last week, but the sleeves are shorter than expected. I’m thinking about flipping it and buying another with longer sleeves, but the patina on this coat is impeccable.

Suggestions?

You can get Barbour to lengthen the sleeves, but you will be able to tell they were lengthened and they won't be patinaed and will likely not match your patinaed jacket. I'd probably just get one that fits better and patina it with my own wear.

That’s what I’m thinking of doing. It’s the classic Beaufort in black, but is now charcoal and brown due to wear; Looks amazing.

Posters have definitely complained in the past that their ashbys were not made in UK. Mine was though.

Just saw a Gisbourne parka... really want one but there wasn’t a small... it’ll be redundant to my Northolt, which I really love. The wool trim on the Northolt reminds me of the Sports Jacket.

I haven't really searched the whole thread but I've been bitten by the barbour bug. How warm are they? I've been eyeing the Steve Mcqueen deck jacket lately but I'd like to wear it for winter in Philly. I typically wear layers / sweaters / some sort of layer underneath and I'd probably get the hood attached. I assume that I could get a better jacket for daytime / casual wear in the winter but I really like this one.
