Been lurking around this forum and seen many individuals from all sorts of different paths in life, so decided to see if I could get some solid advice.

In short, I am currently in the midst of an honours degree in my Bachelors of Science (UoM in Melbourne, Australia). It is at this point that I am unsure on what to continue with. I initially headed into this honours program to continue to study Medicine, but I guess its late in the night and I'm getting second thoughts.
I am 21 and I am slightly afraid of the thought of moving onto another 4 year degree. To pursue it, I would have to study for the graduate test and lose another year

I have considered other options, studying a Masters to major in finance or perhaps trying for dentistry or PhD but none of those ever seems quite as appealing, with the exception of the Masters. So looking for some insights

Any advice would be great!

Cheers

People not at all happy about that. Every time I head into Melbourne conservative business dress, protests are happening.

The medical profession is going to be internationalized in the next 20 years so if you want to work a ****** low paying job for the government then go right ahead.

The greatest trick of the Western education system is making young people believe that what they want to become at the age of 21 will remain true for the remainder of their lives. My advice: If you're not sure, take a year off and explore. Having to study and do something that is not really you is not the worst thing, but it is pretty close to the rock bottom.
