I went shopping with my brother to 2 stores that were closing. Almost purchased some cufflinks since they were so cheap but I resisted. I managed to only give advice to my brother (at his request) and purchased nothing for myself.

(JAN 27)(A 'few' is at least 3)(un-disclosed multi-purchases)http://www.styleforum.net/showpost.p...&postcount=154

My "few" were exactly 3: a pair of wool cargo pants, a sweater, and an oxford. But the order was cancelled before the processing was finished so that must count for something... lol

I think these are pretty minor:

bought some athletic socks- I was down to zero pairs (my wife's aunt, who does our laundry, keeps losing them) and I need them for running in.

Got a $20 gift certificate from Brooks Brothers that expired on 2-28. Terms did not allow purchases less than $20, so I bought three pairs of boxer shorts on sale. Total out of pocket expenditure with shipping and tax $15.

Punish me as you see fit.

Michigan,,,my apologies! It was very late when I did the update.
I'll correct this immediately. You still stand at virgin status then. Sorry for the mixup, and congratulations on your continued strength.

Don Carlos, sorry to read the sickness overcame you. To weaken for Tom Ford is almost forgiveable, but you get one of these

__________________________________________________________________________ We are one day from beginning the second leg of the journey... To those who have stayed strong, my congratulations! To those who have spent and not duly reported it, it's time to confess. And to those who have spent, an offer to redeem yourselves: Redemption points (To those on Death Row only) Sell or give away 1 clothing-related item you own, and lose one of these
devil.gif
Sell or give away 2 clothing-related items you own, and lose 2 of these
devil.gif

and so on. We are on the honour system so please be truthful in reporting these events here. (Each item given away or sold must be of equal value or better than one purchased.) Some incentive to the rest: Sell or give away 1 clothing-related item you own, and receive one of these

and so on. Again, please report items sold or given away truthfully. This is not to boast, but to encourage others to not only save money, but make it too, even if it is only a token fee. The amount is not important but the effort is.

Hey, I sold 4 pocket squares lately. I also made about 4 for myself. I wonder how that will count?

Forgive me NPC for I have sinned. It had been a month since my last purchase. However:

Found an amazing vintage So. Dak. grain elevator bowling shirt (with my name on it) for $5. I could not pass up.

Well, I just lost my job, so I'll be selling a few things on B&S. Is there a pass for those who by from others on the No Purchase Club?

Sorry to read about the job UC, I am in the same boat myself. Hope we both bounce back quickly. Each item sold earns you one of these
teacha.gif
(not to mention a few well-earned dollars). Each item purchased earns you one of these
frown.gif
...3 or more and they turn into these
devil.gif
If someone buys something from a member here, chances are, it is a great opportunity, and worth taking one of these
frown.gif
They are still a part of the NP club membership. I won't out-rightly kick anyone out of the club. It's more like AA. One may fall but is encouraged to get back up and keep trying. By the way.....anyone else interested to join us for February, please say so asap! We are almost out of January.
