Nautical clocks with ship’s bell

My daughter is inquiring about a ship’s bell clock for Christmas. For her office, not hard use on salt water.

Apart from the usual break between hand winding and quartz, is there any meaningful hierarchy of quality between lines? Chelsea and Weems&Plath seem to be the go-to choices, although I forget which of those two I put in my own boat. ?. Other suggestions or observations welcome.

My experience (salt and fresh water, so perhaps irrelevant) has been that Weems and Plath instruments have declined in quality a touch over the last few decades. My most recent set does feel less robust and well-finished than the first. I would nonetheless be quite happy to have one or two in my office but now see Chelsea, at least in finish, as the better of the two. I say that without the benefit of Chelsea ownership experience. I can say I have never had any issues with the W&P's accuracy and we often sail the boat hard, probably a harder grind than what her office experiences. I think either would make a lovely gift, and would try to feel out her aesthetic preference.
