I was under this impression as well. At the least, I'd not expect anything taken apart like that to be the same again, even if he did put it back together.

Only if hand-glued.

Just checked my seam as well - stitched down. No clue what the glue is about in that pic.

Guys, you need to undo the stitching in order to check for the glue. Duh. No pain, no gain.

there was nothing to unstitch
that is not the center back seam.

I checked this by moving both sides of the fabric back and forth independently between my fingers. If there's glue under there, it's not doing a very good job of keeping the fabric stuck together.
