Thoughts? It would be for work, not to become a surf bum.

I moved to Ventura a few months ago to start a business. I'm liking it a lot. I live in downtown Ventura so I'm 3 blocks from the beach and 3-5 blocks from the bars and restaurants. My commute to my office is 5 minutes by car. Overall I'm enjoying the quality of life and the people are friendly. Los Angeles is close enough to go for a special occasion, as needed.

I stayed a night in Ventura years ago on a road trip... absolutely loved it there, really chilled out vibe and a lovely beach.

nice town, nice downtown, decent harbor. out of the LA morass, but close enough to get there easily, and already halfway to SB. There are many worse places to be.

Also, home of perry mason!
