Not as yet. A ton of academic work landed on my desk!Great news! Did you get your sound problems sorted out?
At least all that work should keep you out of trouble 😉Not as yet. A ton of academic work landed on my desk!
Im not a fan of the cutaway or spread collars. I dig the jackets and the braces though.View attachment 2170193
got myself some extra-skinny braces, between this and another one with a grey-black pattern

Pretty nice combo here, reminds me of the 10th doctors outfit from the Doctor Who episode Silence in the Library.

Also wore this shirt with a more 90s tie and my green tweed jacket, which looked pretty neat.

Giving this purple tonic jacket another chance. Not sure such a close-fitting jacket does me any favours as far as my shoulder-to-waist ratio is concerned, but its nothing worth throwing away if I can fix it, and I'm pretty sure I can.
The shirt I'm wearing in this pic also has an odd dark, tall collar band with a bright white button so it might honestly have it's own neat look worn without a tie and just buttoned all the way up David-lynch style.
Thats fair. Honestly, that shirt works more without a tie than it does with one, the dark collar band makes it weird. I have a lot of more narrow semi-spear collar shirts, but the problem with them is they're all too baggy everywhere else, even for how loose most shirts are on me.Im not a fan of the cutaway or spread collars. I dig the jackets and the braces though.
Thanks, i do have a prince of wales check jacket from the late seventies and the lapels are rather wide, still fits better and is nicer quality than any modern cut blazer i have had though. My guess is very late sixties to early seventies. Before the worst excesses of the seventies proportions kicked in, along with crimplene, terylene etc.
Ive had that problem before. I gained plenty weight in my mid forties, otherwise its not too expensive to have the taylor fit them.Thats fair.
