I'm working on a project with some furniture designers. They want to build a b2b marketplace platform, with other possibilities for regular ecommerce. Anybody here an expert in the various platforms out there, the strengths and weaknesses, flexibility, scalability, and how to find a good developer to build the site? You can PM me and we can talk via email.

Thanks

If you are searching for e commerce hosting I would recommend looking into 1and1. I've only use them to host my website so far but I know they also offer e commerce software and scalable cloud servers designed for high traffic sites. Depending on what you want your website to look like/do, you might not need to hire a developer, since it's actually not that hard to build a website on your own. It all depends on your budget and how much time you're willing to invest in getting your site off the ground.
