Ding my damndest to revive this thread:

PT Torino Sample Sale at 182 Lafayette is worth popping into if you need some pants/jeans.

Basics are $50, dress pants are $75. A few knitwear/tailoring samples as well. Lots of selection. Today is the last day.

I've been to their Canali and Zegna sales and they have wonderful stuff, and usually good discounts. The discounts sometimes increase to -70% or -80% by the end of the weekend but then you have less supply too.

I've been burned by a few Isaia SS where the discounts are meager and the selection is poor.

I haven't been to a Kiton one before, planning to go Wednesday and then maybe Sunday depending on the selection.

The Kiton sales are always super expensive. The last one Soiffer Haskin did with Kiton was in January 2024. Everything was 60% off MSRP, from the first day to the last day, but MSRP on the jackets and suits were all between $7k-$10k, so it doesn't feel like much of a sale.

The Isaia sales from 260 Sample Sales used to be good, but they've been really crappy for about the last 3-4 years. I keep seeing the same old worn-out items still on the rack.

NYC Sample sales used to be much better- I think the only ones i still look forward to are the ones from Drakes and the Armoury (which are very rare). And the Ralph Lauren Friends & Family Sale, but I haven't been able to get the invite in a few years- does anybody know if they've even been happening?
