For those that don't have drug coverage (or have parents that lack this benefit), look into the $4.00 plans being offered by Walmart/Sam's, Target and K-Mart pharmacies. My parents are on Medicare and have no drug coverage. They are able to get their pravastatin (similar/same class drug as Lipitor) for only $4.00/month. Mom is also able to get her blood pressure medication and thyroid replacement for $4.00 each for a month supply. Walmart/Sam's also has two different generic birth control pill formulations for $9.00/month; I suspect Target and K-Mart will follow with that too. You check on the link below for the $4.00 formulary at Walmart; Target's is almost the same. By the way, I do not have any interest in any of the above mentioned stores (financial or otherwise); this is not spam.
