I understand the statement above about having a brand inspired by another.
my Aurelien shoes are really well made and the suede is beautiful, but comparing them to my open walks is night and day. The LPs are just have another level above them.
I saw a bunch of Aurelien shows when I was in Germany and didn't like them felt like inferior quality - I could be making this up though since I have been drinking the LP kool aid :)

If the quality would be the same, i would think that loro piana would be doing a really bad job at more than double the price 😁

These shoes imho are more a style accessoire and a statement piece and while i am looking for decent quality i just cant justify spending more than 300eur for a relaxed shoe that i will probably not wear anymore in about 3 years.

I’ve seen some other models around eBay like “Daily Walk”, “Soft Walk” and “Softey Walk” but I cannot find much online. Were they temporary models or are they fake?

Not sure, Sprucey. I think they could just be lesser known shoes due to popularity of the open/summer walks?

Loro Open Walks for £24.99 off eBay… but the title was amazing, bless him he thought they were just Sunspel due to the insoles. I’ll give them a good clean and a steam when I get the time!

Nice to put into the rotation.

Any New alternatives for the open walk Version?
Feels like everyone makes their own version now, apart from Aurelien there are more similar looking ones, especially at Skolyx has some with light and also dark sole (just like LP does nowadays). They also have their own B&L Sagan Stride as well as normal Sagan looking ones.

Another swedish retailer (who also offers re-soling on Loro Piana) has their own version. I'd be lying if I said this fur lined pair doesn't look cozy AF.
