Loofah Question

When showering, I always used to use a washcloth, but a few years ago, switched to using a loofah as an alternate to the washcloth that I used to use. But I never thought to stop and think whether a loofah is meant to serve as an actual replacement to a washcloth or if it's supposed to be just an extra step in the showering process. Can anyone tell me?

Get a Salux body polish cloth, have both at once.

But I'm right to be using it instead of a washcloth and not WITH a washcloth also?

I have no idea. I tried a loofah and hated it. The Salux cloth is cheap, more abrasive and exoliating, etc etc.

Loofah sucks ass.

Use the ball-cloth-thingy (puff?) at Walmart. $0.99. Use and discard as you see fit.

. . . and periodically soak in a bleach and water solution to kill germs and bacteria - with them being wet and removing surface dirt and sloughing off dead skin, do you really want to be rubbing the residual junk all over your body?

Loofah should be used as needed, not every day. I use it once or twice a month (maybe more in the summer).

It will get moldy after a while.

I agree, this or a similar synthetic product, not loofah.
