Interesting, I have the exact opposite problem. In fact I haven't worn my loafers outside because they don't fit me that well. Maybe they'll stretch but I haven't worn them enough to find out.

I haven't worn my loafers that much, but they are more comfortable over long periods than my other Darltons.

Alden for Brooks. The shine on these is unbreakable.

Grenson for Paul Stuart

And more grenson for PS. We have seen these before. They are awesome.

I have some Darlton's too, which I have to say are close to my favorite shoes ever. But I have a fat heel and can deal with the tight toebox on my wide foot. They took many months to break in, but are now close to perfect. Never shine like the Alden's, but people comment on the brown. Different in ever light.

Those cigar Aldens have a distinct olive tinge. How does that age? Does it get greener, or mellow into a light brown, or what?

Could just be color balance on the photo. In natural light, they just look like a medium brown. Perhaps a slight olive tint, but not like in this picture. Also it may be an optical illusion since they are sitting next to much redder shoes that I believe are mahogany shell cordovan.

Perhaps these can be considered "old man shoes", but how can these possibly be considered old man shoes? (both pictures are from Ron Rider, but I own the shoes). From Martegani, I also own a pair of the Lucca2 in shell cordovan: a pair of lace-up boots in mahogani and a pair of chelsea boots in color #6, without pictures to show. My Darlton wingtips fit me fine with a thick pair of socks, but I honestly don't remember whether I might have sized down 1/2 size. I'd need to check. My other shell cordovan shoes include a pair of Polo MacCallum chukkas and Alden LHS in color #8 and in black, but others have shown pictures of these. Needless to say, Ilike shell cordovan shoes. Edit: I forgot that I also own a pair of Nettleton shell cordovan saddle shoes in color #8, with black.

The Third boot from the left looks like cigar to me.

Sorry for the poor quality of the pics, didn't see it until I posted them. the light also makes them seem a lot more variable in color than they are.
