If you like the aesthetics of that Flat Head jacket (which is beautiful!) then you should also take a look at the D-pocket Avro by Himel Brothers. Himel also works with Shinki tannage. Both are top-quality jackets.
Thanks, but now all you've done is make me want one of those cool ass blanket jackets too!

Now this is a beautiful jacket. It's too bad the size is off, for me. I'd have been very interested, but I think I'm going to get the classic black RO high-neck intarsia from Crust--I've been on the hunt for that for a while as it is. I love how clean the CC jacket is.

A bomber I just picked up in Fez, Morocco for around $150. It's made of buttery soft goatskin tanned in Fez; the quality is superb.

I know there's a wealth of knowledge in this thread about sizing 5 Zips, and it seems like the sizing differs from seasons, but do they generally run tts? with a 50 being a size L

You answered your own question - the sizing is different depending on the season. Most recent seasons fit true to size, with very recent seasons being much slimmer

stumbling through past posts, i have noticed lambskin just doesn't get much love here? it seems that you guys usually favor cowhide, horsehide and goatskin.
what are the reasons for this? is it because lambskin is not as durable?

Durability is one thing, but usually jackets made with lambskins lack characters after they have been worn, and they tend to lose shape after a while.

Just bought Ertu's LW A2 and it arrived today! I couldn't be happier with it. It is definitely the best leather jacket Ive owned.

Would appreciate some input on this aero fit jacket (sz 42). I thought it fit pretty well, maybe bring it in slightly around the waist and I had a hard time lifting my arms to a riding position. This would primarily be a casual jacket but will double as my moto jacket for short rides

I'm not going to be making any cross-country motorcycle trips, but if I am spending that much on something I want to feel like it will last me a while.
It will hold up okay. They tend to be fairly lightweight though, if that is a concern for you.

I'd add half an inch to an inch to the sleeves. They seriously shrink after you break your jacket in. Otherwise, fit looks good
