If any of you has been looking for a Buco J-22/23/24 cross-zip repro, the acclaimed one from Legendary USA (built for them by Schott) is back in production after a 10 year hiatus, but only 100 jackets will be made.

Pricing is quite reasonable, too, only a slight bump compared to the original price, so I ordered one when I saw it. I’d been hunting it on the used market for a few years but it always hovers at around 8-900 which seemed a bit much for used.

There seems to be an incorrect size chart that was just posted on the item listing by mistake. Based on the measurements I confirmed with them when I ordered, I’d say the key measurement to get right is the hem. The hem runs one size smaller than you’d expect (20” on the size 42, for instance) but the chest runs an inch wider, for a sharp V-shape, so I went 42 even though I’m a 40.

Hey guys, I have a question to ask. I wash/dried my goat leather jacket, then conditioned it with saphir renonateur. After getting caught in the rain, it stained up like this.

Any advice of what to do? I was thinking about using Bick 4, that might get rid of it, condition it, and protect the leather?

You can use Vaseline, which John Chapman recommends, or Pecards (which is pretty similar). If you want to lightly restore color, you can get the tinted Pecards, which due to its nature as tinted rather than dyed doesn’t cause dye splotches and things.

Question for debate: It's 2023, are we still wearing double riders?

Why I'm asking: Interested in buying another, but I'm also looking at an Addict AD-01.
Of course you can wear them. Always, whenever you want.

And here is the counterpart to the Addict.

Dramatically so. People have made that complaint about Five Star where you can at least hand wave it because the jacket costs $200.

This jacket actually looks like the Vanson Comet, except with wonky pockets. I’d just get that instead (well, I did.)
