I bit the bullet - picked up the RMC J-24L. What do you think of the fit? I personally think it fits great. Additionally it’s comfortable, besides the fact that I’m having an issue zipping it up…which is weird (the chest measurements are smaller than I would like, but the shoulder measurements work…maybe that’s it?) but I’m going to wear it open so I’m OK with this.

Like the RMC J-100 I purchased before, I was extremely hesitant to get a size 44, after all the advice to size up. But I went with my “normal” size of a 44 and it miraculously worked (I tried on a size 44 in the regular J-24 years ago, and I couldn’t get it on).

* Bonus fit pic* Before I bought the J-24L, I was fortunate enough to try on the NEW iteration of the regular J-24, aka the revised (larger) fit. Size 44 was sold out so I tried on the size 46, which I believed was my size. I felt it came off pretty unflattering, but that’s just me.

Appreciate the feedback my dude. I don't know why I'm digging the fit on me...meh. Just please don't make fun of me if you see me wearing this in the streets
I think it is fine. Bigger size also a larger back which does not necessarily look better. This jacket is not very comfortable (at least for a long period) to wear it zipped anyway and I see no point in zipping it up. just wear it with a t-shirt. Also it looks much better unzipped

That expanse of leather from the edge of the inner flap to the zipper makes it work open but I can't imagine you can zip that chest.

Oddly enough, sizing up for him throws everything else off. I'd say the cut is just not for him. He's better off trying a DR from a different maker or going MTM.

If he wants another version of this jacket, Lost Worlds and Field Leathers can hook him up.

he should try to live the brand story and if the experience creases/rips the jacket then you know what up
