^ @MrProper does that bad leather sentiment also extend to their black goat skin?

And since I have you here I've been meaning to ask you something. On your insta images of your Aero Premier Highwayman jackets have you in any way customised the collars or are those standard Premier Aero collars with no modifications?
I think the black goat is still the best choice of all the leathers. To be fair, I have to say that 5* have been experimenting with different leathers over the last 1-2 years but I don't know if they have really made any improvements. But I honestly don't believe it.
Regarding the Aero PHWM jackets... they are all standard apart from the measurements. I.e. the collar should be the same on all of them.

Selling a couple of pieces that I don't wear enough to justify keeping. Both in great condition, a bit of creasing / fading on the FCL, as to be expected, no sign of wear that I can see on the JG.
Fine Creek Leather Leon Custom, size 42 (fits like a regular medium). $1300 shipped in the US.

James Grose Irvin, size M. $1100 shipped in the US.

I only took a couple of pictures, but I'm happy to take more and provide measurements, of course.

Long version? Regular Addict jackets are long as hell already.

Depends on the model. The AD01 in a size 42 is 67cm length, the AD02 in size 42 is 64cm.

An AD02L in 46 is 69cm.

Yep I was accounting for that (AD-01 has a back drop) but I already think the AD-01 is too long, even at the front, and I think I might be a bit taller than you?

If it had been an option I would’ve ordered a shorter length, but they only accept customisations in some event they do once per year.

I do like shorter jackets though.

And yeah 46 sounds big as well. I ordered a 38 precisely because I was concerned with the length (it increases 1cm in the 40), it fits well but it’s tight.

I have the 01 and I feel it's on the short side but I like jackets a little longer

Ah so you you’re in team sinnedk. 🙂

You guys would hate my last couple of jackets that are barely 60cm/24in long in the back lol

Please post pics or at least impressions about the leather when you have it.

oh dude 60cm that would be above my waist!!

this is the 42 at 67, I would be happy with 2cm more body

I think a short length mostly looks good on double riders and I remember one of mine being 61cm and another 63cm. If there's a lot going on with the jacket it makes you look a little wide on top which can look good so it doesn't really work with a more minimal jacket, more negative points if the leather is also thin. Perhaps that's overthinking it of course but it works for me.

That second pic looks like me in one of my Rick jackets; absolutely zero tennis balls. It unfortunately smells like bars, concerts, alcohol, smoke, men's cologne etc so I really can't be bothered going through a cleaning process and selling it.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
