I would also say that it is labelled about 2 sizes too big.

Whilst I'm at it, a little moaning about the sizes in general:
DBF seems to be generally a bit inconsistent with their sizes in my experience. My standard size in DBF used to be L, sometimes even XL would work. Now everything goes from S (parisian raglan) to M (mock neck) to L (camp collar shirt). My TTS is M.
In addition, 48 is translated on the website as L instead of M and other sizing charts are completely missing (e.g. Crew Neck). All this makes online shopping a bit frustrating, especially if you want to avoid returns.

I think a little more consistency would be helpful (a 50 which is intended to be tighter and 50 which is is intended to bei oversized should both fit the same person, just with different silhouettes).

Sorry for complaining. Apart from that, DBF has been one of my favourite mens wear shops for years - if not my favourite.

We have had this on our plan for some time, it stems from the new fits having been more and more ample over time, while having many carryovers in line with our "Editions" concept. We are now working on the Edition for Fall 2025 so it always takes time. Thank you again !

Picked up this jacket in the current sale specifically due to the styling in these photos. It's a fantastic piece, thought I do wish the hood had a drawstring or was otherwise adjustable in some way. It's pretty massive and I find myself wrestling with it more than I'd like.

I'm honored that you did. I really enjoyed participating to this, we will do another one for SS25, we already have plenty of ideas of styles and places in Toulouse !

Hi guys - living in London so can't try them on, but have been tempted by a pair of the baloon trousers for ages.

Does anyone own them/can recommend them as a good all rounder? Just wondering how flowwy/wide they are. Don't want them to be too baggy as it were, but looking for a timeless well cut pair of cotton trousers.

I tend to wear eg Drakes stuff and i think they'll pair well with the style!

they’re wide, though I wouldn’t say they’re flowy. I’ve got them in the heavy twill and corduroy and both hold their shape. as for being an all-rounder… the wider silhouette may not work with absolutely everything, but that depends on your style somewhat

the first one here is the cream twill balloons, paired with a Drake’s chore. second is the golden balloon cords. it’s worth noting that everything is intentionally a bit oversized here, to work with the pants

On page 117 I have a picture with balloon pants (behind a spoiler).

They are definitely suitable for everyday use.

I would say it doesn't match Drake's 100% but good enough. DBF has more of an academic artsy vibe for me, which I don't feel quite the same way with Drake's.
