Just happened across one of the OG Pecora Nera undyed full zip sweaters if anyone is a M.

I'm actually selling my crew neck one in S if anyone is interested. Just put it up on Giled but can do better price here direct. Unfortunately I can't get away pretending I'm still an S ha

I recently purchased the brown balloon trousers via the DBF site. For reference, I wear a size 38 and assumed size 54 is the correct/ideal size. I used the Mr. Porter measurements (assuming it was the same SKU) for guidance as a I saw variance in measurement between the different balloons on the DBF site. I'm curious to know the recommendations at my size. I saw a comms in this thread from earlier this year, but the sizes were smaller than what I was reviewing.

You guys are probably sick of seeing me post myself in this coat, but this is the last one I promise. Crosspost from WAYWT.

Deborah and team - you guys absolutely killed it with this piece. Beautiful details, fabric selection and cut. The way it drapes is phenomenal. I also really like the patch pocket by the chest. I think it adds a cool visual element to the coat that you don't usually see in Balmacaans.

Figured I’d share a pic of how I styled the NMWA Grandad this past weekend. I tend to wear it more often with my tailored outfits (collared shirts, trousers, etc) but I wore it here super casually and I think it really worked. I had on orSlow jeans, an orSlow crewneck, and an LL Bean turtleneck shirt for a very windy and cold day in DC. I’m finding the Grandad to be incredibly versatile as I style it in different ways.

Has anyone else had structural issues with their Grandad coat? I don't consider myself to be rough on clothing, but I've managed to have a button fall off and the inner lining stitching rip at the bottom after only ~5 wears.

No lining issues, but my inner button (the one that's reversed and holds the buttons secure) came undone within a couple of wears, without me even using it (fortunately I caught it before I lost it). And the other buttons don't necessarily seem like they are that well secured, honestly.

I also had the keeper for the belt tear off on my first wear.

I have had different situations - on the grey, navy, rust gun check Grandad, two of the buttons were very loose when it arrived. I immediately looked up how to sew on buttons and I snipped them off and sewed them back on in a very robust fashion. I used this video.

The Austrian wool Grandad had all the buttons sewed on very securely.

I think the coats were made in two different facilities.

Bonjour everyone! We have just received a few items at the store, some of which I know have been requested for some time:

Grandad Coat in Harris Tweed Wool Navy Houndstooth (sizes 48 & 50)
Grandad Coat in Austrian Wool Forest Green (sizes 48 & 50)

I still haven't put them online, so if you are interested, you can send me a message on Instagram or at [email protected]

Best from Paris,
Matthieu
