I still like the plain toe better. Maybe because I am predisposed to the wholecut look.

I love the wholecut look, but I would still buy these as my classic black shoe. High shine just the captoe portion and they will be great looking.

Welp, time to throw my current black captoes on the bay and start saving for these.

I was thinking the same thing. I got my first black captoe's before I really knew what I was doing and they've got a chiseled toe whose squareness I've come to just not like over time (they're Sutor for Borrelli).

These look great and the bang-for-the-buck quality ratio is off the charts.

Quality is easily on par with Carmina and others in that range.
