Quick update on my order: I've been really impressed with the customer service. Replies aren't always same day, but they've been very patient with my questions and clarifications. Was very tempted to switch to the oiled latigo, but I just love the way aged natural clx looks.

I should have some photos to share soon.

Sidenote: Apparently they'll do shoes for kids as well. There may be a pair of matching boots in my son's future.

For sizing, I'm a 7E-EE measured.

Viberg 2030 6.5 fits well width wise and is slightly long.

Any suggestions between 7 (39 EU) or 7.5 (40 EU)?

These will be shell boots and will mostly wear with thin socks.

not sure if I'm much help but I'm a 9.5 D/E brannock and I went with a size 10 US as they told me they do not make half sizes. I measured and sent them my foot measurements and thats what they recommended after chatting. I'm just worried about the instep for my pair.

After they make Matt's I think they will be finishing mine up. I'm planning to do wear thin to normal weight socks.

Their CS representatives must not be on the same page. Not only do they give different answers about sizing, but they also gave different answers about the discount being applied to shell cordovan.

Perhaps it depends on how you communicate with them. Did you guys use IG or email?

I've been emailing and they didn't provide the discount on shell, unless I ordered 2 pairs, then I'd get 10% off.

They suggested 40EU or 7.5 for me.

It's possible that hey have half-sizes for some lasts, and not for others, and that's the source of confusion. Did you order SC2078s drewcandraw?

Ordering a SC2089

My brandy sc2089 brandy shell boots came in today. I asked them to size me down to 10us and these fit like a glove. They also sent me thicker insoles to put in my first pair which I got in 11us. The difference between 10 and 11us is only .5 cm which I believe is true because these are perfect.

Now I'm considering selling my brown shell pair, since these are just so perfect and I clearly went slightly big on the brown pair.
