All,

Starting to move some Lobbs I've collected and haven't worn or just don't wear. A number of brand new in box. Size ranges UK 7E-10E. Hopefully they all find a nice home. Some photos below.

How is it possible that this is your first pair of black shoes?
I am not familiar with your personal affairs but have seen enough of you around the forums and maybe B&S to think you have a well stocked wardrobe and shoe closet. But, apparently, your game was a bit short of top shelf. It is great that you have filled this massive hole and with a fine pair of shoes. Well done.

Also, who is this RD who you are thanking for giving you these shoes? I need to contact them as I would like a pair or three as well.

Taking photos of pewter museum calf is damn tricky, but I had to do so as I'm selling these, so figured I'd combine a little blatant shilling with some sharing of the snaps. Sorry to see these shoes go, but they just don't fit me particularly well so have to be sold. When I first bought them, they were a fairly pale but variegated grey, but over time & polishing, became the somewhat brown-tinged grey below:

More pics here.

Thank you.

I've had EG Chelsea,C&J Hallam, both are long gone. I am not a fan of black shoes. I do need to get a captoe, though.

Indeed you are now truly reaching for maximum wisdom. Yes, you do need black captoes.
I will ignore the statement about your lack of fandom. And at two pairs, I will say that is enough to qualify.
Do you wear boots and if so also non black?

RD is going to get a wish list from me. If I had known he buys members shoes I might have posted and lurked 10x as much in the fora.

If these were 6.5EE, I'd be all over them.

Thank you everyone. I am looking forward to wearing them.

Mr. Cerutti, they pale in comparison to your lovely ties.
Thank you for your kind words ... but sometimes being pale does not mean inferiority! The quality is unquestioned ... Lobb is one of the sacred myths!

And the ties I would really like to have you among my best customers friends

....We are in a family where everything is done with vintage fabrics still hand-printed many years ago and is made bespoke.

My first pair of Lobb's has arrived. MTO through the Jermyn street store. They fit like a glove and the suede is amazing!

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
