Love the jacket but am skeptical as i have issues with JE sizing at times. Im usually a medium but some of the slimmer stuff (villain, flannels) either looks bad or i cant button to the bottom.

It fits well but it sightly on the shorter side. I’m a small in the villain and a small in everything else JE. If your a muscular “ insert size” you could size up

It’s definitely not waterproof, I don’t know how to explain the material but it truly is “parachute” material if you’ve ever felt one. I’ve worn it in the rain before though and didn’t get soaked. No on the ability to hide straps.. that’s kinda the best part
