My golf are a 1/2 size larger than my 180. I’d say that the Golf might be the most comfortable pair of shoes that I own while the 180 really were a pain in the a** at first and are now an Ok fit. But as it already has been stated multiple times in this thread: Weston sizing really is tricky and super complicated to get right haha!

I actually somewhat prefer the Paraboot Chambord, in particular with the white stitching on black. I own a pair, which I picked up after trying a (too small) pair of Golfs. The storm welt on the Chambord is a bit more appropriate to the chunky design of that shoe, in my opinion.

I actually think that the Golf is super elegant and versatile compared to the Chambord, that is much more sturdy and somewhat less refined. Here’s a picture of the Chambord based chukka (ParabootxArpenteur collab) versus my Golf. My take on the Chambord-Golf comparison is that these shoes might look quite similar at first sight, but are in fact totally different.

Given that's a boot 3-eyelet boot you're comparing to, I'll add this:

But yes, I agree that the Golf is much sleeker.

I thought about getting a pair of chambord to satisfy my yearning for leather Weston Golf since it’s only about half of what Golf costs. But after giving it some thought, I think eventually I’ll still get another pair of Golf in leather🤣

In my short experience so far these 180 loafers have wrecked my feet if I am to be honest. Size 7 / C.

Paused and now trying them again.

What has been people's experience?

Just been wearing around at home to break them in but I am sort of leaning towards taking an 'L' on these.

Also, came to the conclusion that the additional rubber sole makes these shoes completely unbreathable. I guess there are tradeoffs.

Don't give up! That's how I felt after trying to convince myself the pair I chose to stick with were the best I could get. Now I'm Ariel.
