I’m really enjoying wearing these! They are my first pair of JMM; Fellini noir 7, progressive lenses with a wonderful peach/pink gradient tint that transitions to dark amber. I particularly like the yellow/green mirror flash when transitioned. Anthony was really great to work with and I will be back in his shop sooner rather than later.

Frickin perfect. Absolutely perfect!!!!! Are you local to that feller Aiden? If so, how lucky are you? I’m in the Midwest where there are no competent optical shops. Enjoy the frick out of those frames and lenses. I’m jelly (jealous)!

Edit:
And by the way, welcome to the brand and congratulations on your first JMM (Jacques Marie Mage) frames!! I purchased my first frame around page 1 of this electronic bulletin board, so trust me when I say it won’t be your only frame! NOOICE!!!!!

Alright, I'm new with this brand. I've looked at numerous examples both on style forum and also on JMM site. Size is tricky for me. I have a narrow face from top to bottom. Persol are my favorites at the time and in their various models I'm a 47/48 to 50 in lense size. What is difficult is all the different frame styles. Any recommendations

Which exact Persol/Rayban models work for you?

I am not an expert but i would first try to match total width (since i have a narrow face too), and then shape and style (wayfarer, round, square, aviator...).
A rough estimate for myself is:
frames with a total width <= 143mm might work.
Anything above unlikely, no matter what shape...

Available and on the narrow side right now should be Zephirin (44 or 47) to Stahler to Molino 51?

Hello, hello and welcome to the brand! We are glad to have you!! There are a lot of super folx here who have a wealth of knowledge, so you’ve come to the right place. I myself purchased my first pair of JMM (Jacques Marie Mage) back around oh page 1 of this bulletin board.

If you ask me, this brand wears fairly large, which is good for a fat head like me. The JMM page lists dimensions of each frame. They can be sometimes inaccurate at times. Armed with that information, try some on locally noting the style, shape, and OA (overall) width. This will give you an idea of how large you can go. I hope this helps because knowing is half the battle. I’m sure others will have some fantastic advice too.

Happy shopping!

Frames less than 143? Dang. If I wore frames that small, it would look like I was wearing shirt buttons as glasses. The curse of a fat face!

I have the Mcqueen folding aviator shape. I do like the more wayfarer shape also. I have the Ray-Ban Italian made WayFarer in a 50/22 that I like.
The Italian made Wayfarer in 50/22 (model 4340) fits me quite perfect.
The Persol folding Mcqueen (model 0714) works for me in lense size "52".
It exist in size "54" aswell but i never tried that, since the "52" is almost too big for me...

JMM models that work for me: Plaza, Molino 51, Stahler, Zephirin, Dealan 50, Fellini (and probably more i have to discover...)
