I think it looks sick. The beard volume helps a lot too. Love the bold extravagance. The overall look makes you seem really fun to be around.

Reminds me of Casino and Elliot Gould

Nice of you to say! The beard does heavy lifting, these would look rough if I was clean shaven.

Concern about how oversized they are is warranted. For me they're in a fun over the top sweet spot. I tend to agree some of those Michael Caine oversized frames just seem cool because it's Michael Caine. I had a similar pair of Standifords that just weren't good, even with the beard.
I can relate. The Belize model was just too big for me, even with a heavy beard.

The biggest opticals I can wear are Fellinis, but even they're pushing it if my beard is short.

We’re the Standiford too wide or too tall for you?

I like how the Walkers coordinate with the MT UT OTF. You have quality tastes in more than just frames and gars (cigars).

What was the first model for sale?
Were the first models qualitatively superior or inferior to the current ones for sale?
Do you think Jerome makes too many versions and too many models?
Now it seems like a more expensive generalist brand than others... what do you think about it?
Thanks

1. Dealan
2. Different I would say, the first ones look more handcrafted.
3. Yes...but supply and demand
4. They take advantage of the hype.

So the Dealan was the first ever model released? I didn't know that. Thanks for the info!

Yeah interesting.
I wonder if the next models rolled out rapidly on the heels of the Dealan or if that was a ‘test the water’ kind of thing and the expansion came slowly and steadily.

It’s also interesting that now there’s some criticism that there are now too many models!

I would say the criticism probably stems from the fact the brand had a small limited selection of frames and felt more niche and exclusive and now is starting to feel like every other eyewear brand with a new release every week or few weeks. And at the price point its tough for collectors and those who are loyal and love the brand. Also the original designs felt fresh and unique in many ways and when you make too many designs you can water the well so to speak. Just my opinion.

I get it everyone and everything grows in life, and its great or its not. With limited and exclusive things it can have a positive or negative effect
