Anyone know if the Fitzgerald is making a come back with new colors? Wonder why Fitzgerald isn’t getting any love lately with all these reissues / new color ways🤷🏻‍♂️

I like them too, but they're probably too similar to the Dealan, their best-seller and perhaps most iconic model.

Agreed on the Dealans. Iconic.

I have both (different colourways) of these frames. There is just something about the Fitzgeralds. The cateye is much more subtle on face for me. I tried on a number of colours of the Dealan and settled on the wax colourway, as it really muted the cateye on me.

I do not own multiples in any frame, but certainly would buy another Fitzgerald or two.

I used to say I don’t want to repeat colours nor repeat frame styles so I would have a collection of uniquely different (to me) glasses that would cover a lot of ground.

I now have (among other frames) five Dealans and will get the stingrays too. Then I’m done, one in one out after that. I wouldn’t say Dealans are my all time favourite frame shape (probably Ashcroft for me) but they’re up there, iconic, and seem to have been made available in a broader range of colours than any other frame. (Any other contenders?).

I get that the feline shape doesn’t work for some and they are quite narrow compared to some frames but perhaps because they mimic vintage wayfarers they have been maintained as one of the ‘flagship’ styles by JMM.

This re-sell market is goofed up….people are selling yellowstones for almost 3k while it’s still widely available. Wait till it at least sells out my guy

I’m glad I’m selling my last “meh I’m not sure” frame cause the party is over! Haha

I was doing some pre-spring cleaning and got around to all of my sunglasses in their boxes. Brands like Tom Ford, Krewe, etc. technically "high-end" frames. I haven't picked them up since I bought my first pair of JMM. They feel SO cheap in comparison. The build quality is absolute trash and so are the materials! Wow! I thought Krewe would be better honestly, since they are an independent eyewear company.. nope.

I truly don't know if I'll ever be able to go back to that tier of frame. Perhaps to only be used for activities where I wouldn't want to risk damaging my JMM, like skiing.

Edit: My Oliver Peoples are actually leagues ahead of the Krewe / Tom Ford.
