How much shrinkage in length (of the pants!) should I expect with the classic fit Bowery pant if I dry them? They're about 1.5-2"" too long, and I was considering throwing them in the dryer instead of having them hemmed. Thx!

Shrinkage for cotton pants very likely will not be more than an inch even with a dryer, especially if they pre-washed like most j crew items are marketed. I always wash first before having hemming done.

That surplus sweater is starting to grow on me and I'm thinking its a must buy. Collector's item, fair price and looks to be very comfortable. Might just be worth it. Pair with a few other items that will take advantage of the 20% off promotion.

Edit:Speaking of the promotion, are you still allowed to return items? I didn't see anything in the fine print that said otherwise.
