Hello
Finally joined after watching and reading this forum for over a couple of years. I am a small manufacturer of luxury leather goods based out of Karachi, Pakistan. I see that there s not much indepth discussion on or about leather goods/ manufacturers but I am hoping to get some feedback from the community at some point.

I am duly trying to avoid any unintended marketing but if anyone has any questions regarding leather supply chain, manufacturing, products, crafstmanship etc. please feel free to reach out to me. I am a Purdue MBA with I Banking and Consulting background. Now I make and sell bespoke goods for a living Who'd have thunk? Cheers!!

Good day,

I am new to the forum, and name is Aron. Due to my profession and my professional affiliations, I am in a suit or everything minus blazer/jacket for 80% of my workweek (which is usually monday thru saturday haha) I dont mind it. I started my wardrobe when I was around 24-25 and began acquiring brands like ISAIA, Zegna and Brioni suits (Used of course at reputable consignment shoppes) and finally worked my way to buy and acquire brand new Turnbull and Asser shirts. (Including their prized West Indies sea island cotton ones!) I believe a man (and woman of course) carries themselves and shows their worth through their style, clothing, persona and overall demeanor/aura. I hope to learn from sartorial enthusiasts and connoisseurs of the finer more elegant things in life especially in the realms of clothing and style. Thank you for having me on board.

Hey thanks! yea! you bet I felt like a million bucks both my ISAIA's are SUper 160s! Brioni too. Its actually kind of habit forming, finding great deals on suits that costs 3-4 even 5K about 10 -15 years ago! (even with inflation) that is some top quality craftsmanship. I am actually debating on getting some Paolo Scaforas now, I think I deserve it and want to help him spread his name out.

Hello all from San Diego, California, USA! I've been lurking on the forums for a few months and finally decided to create an account. Looking to share advice and opinions when possible, and soak up as much advice and knowledge as I can to further develop myself.
My personal style has been more recently evolving, and fits largely in this "Classic Menswear" area, with a little bit of streetwear mixed in. I love that SoCal seems to have its own niche because I'm not a strict style rule-follower myself. I do follow a lot of timeless tips and styles, but just put my own little Cali twist to some. Cheers!

Fyi, I've had my Isia suits from 10-12 years ago re-cut and not only do they look contemporary, but en vogue as well. Classic quality is as classic quality does: or something like that, lol!

Hello guys, This is Diego from Argentina. I am not passionate about fashion but Star Wars costumes. So I will be digging your forum looking for some responses about real shoes used on Star Wars films.

Aya here,
I came up with an idea of doing posts to share my lifestyle experience as an exposure for my other friends back in this community and built a good relationship.:violin::worship:

Well, it depends. In the business world, suits are very common, but it depends on your job. If you have meetings with other companies, or outside the work place, suit is standard. If not, you can basically wear whatever you want. The only time (almost) everyone wears suits are 17th May (our Constitution day), company christmas parties and new years eve (and of course weddings, funerals etc). You usually don't wear a suit if you're just going out for dinner or meeting friends. I'm a musician/music teacher, so I wear suits most of the time when I'm doing gigs, but not when I'm teaching. I guess this counts as an introduction too.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
