I want to hate this Cole Haan shoe, so where can I find something similar/better?

For some reason I have developed sinful feelings for this pair of Cole Haan shoes. The Air Quincy in burgundy suede. I checked them out at the local CH store and saw that the soles were glued on. I actually had to return the only pair of CH shoes I ever bought to Nordy's recently because the outsoles started to become unglued after 40 days of ownership.

Check out the new burgundy New Balance 1400 they just picked up at J. Crew. Pretty nice looking shoe I think. $130. Made in USA.
