I want to hate this Cole Haan shoe, so where can I find something similar/better?

For some reason I have developed sinful feelings for this pair of Cole Haan shoes. The Air Quincy in burgundy suede. I checked them out at the local CH store and saw that the soles were glued on. I actually had to return the only pair of CH shoes I ever bought to Nordy's recently because the outsoles started to become unglued after 40 days of ownership.

But still, I love the way these look. So can anyone on here help me find a burgundy suede sneaker that would actually last a good long while?

Got these crazy notions in my head about "value of materials" and all that...
LOL funny that you mention "value of materials" when posting a pair of Chinese-made, glued-outsole, Cole Haan shoes that probably cost $10 to make in Nike's Panyu, China factory and look like a pair of $29.99 sneakers from Sears Everything Cole Haan makes is designed to capitalize on the wallets of aloof men who are too undiscerning or lazy to research quality things. It's the Banana Republic of shoes - pretenses of class catered to the masses who think they like quality things

@stupidusername

I will refer you to Post 1 sentence 3 titled "Why I wouldn't buy them to begin with."

@overstand

Ouch. I feel like I need to go immediately and toss my Air Chelseas in the wood chipper!
