Went out to buy a bottle of champagne and came home with these treasures! The Tempus Fugits Cacao is really wonderful -- beats the crappy Marie Brizzard a thousand ways to one. And Swedish Punsch for cocktails too! Been looking for that for a while.

My brother, my wife, and I visited family in Charleston last February for the food and wine festival. We discovered among other things that Grand Marnier's Cuvee du Centenaire is freaking delicious. She and I splurged on a dram of it while out celebrating our anniversary in June.

So last week I got a bottle for her for Christmas.

Turns out my brother and his boyfriend also went in together on a bottle for us for Christmas.

So we've got a liter and a half of GM100 hanging out in our liquor cabinet.

Bell's Expedition Stout

I saw yet another list of the "best beers in the world" and this was #4. I've seen it often but never tried it so decided to get some to enjoy during this class 3 killstorm we're getting here in Detroit. Very good and very rich and not nearly as filling and thick as many stouts I've had.
