*awesome from a design perspective...pretty bad from a taken care of and still comfortable perspective

If you're just tossing the day bed, can I get the legs?

Well, I am hoping to sell it to someone else who cares more about how it looks than how much their friends complain that it is uncomfortable to sit on....(and these legs have a certain patina that might not look so great on a brand new looking sofa)

If I can't find any takers, I'll let you know

Jeep Patriot. Might not be as flashy as my old BMW, nor as sweet as my sister's X5, but I love the damned thing already.

Just bought some essentials for myself in the last few days while I was finishing my Christmas shopping. I've also bought myself a lot of presents while out shopping for others! This happen to anyone else??

Just bought two Moleskin square lined notebooks, some Mont Blanc ink refills, an Apple Magic Mouse (that I was sceptical about, but I actually love it!). Was browsing in the Apple store for a while looking at some iPad cases trying to find one to replace Apple's case i've had since launch day now. It's getting a bit beat up and losing its structure in places so I think it's time to upgrade. Didn't see anything I really liked, besides I always like to do a bit of research with tech related products, given the abundance of easily available reviews on the internet. Any of you guys have any recs?

not as hard as a thought they would be (i was rolling for 5-10min at a time within my first couple rides). but i did still take a huge spill sideways towards the end when I tried to get cocky and ride out of saddle on the hoods. (riding on the hoods is a lot harder than on the flats as is right now).

I read up a ton on them and its described as feeling like "riding your bike on ice". This is a pretty good description it feels like you're just sliding around and pedaling hard using the gyroscope effect of both wheels keeps you up.

the only consistent reason people fall off is that road bikers usually have clip in pedals and end up getting squirrely and having clipping out to late - which happened to me (after looking cool and confident for a first timer right at the end of my session). thank god my workout room has plentiful rubber flooring.

back when I raced competitively, I had a roller but one of those that kept you stationary. Worked like a charm except you kind of had to force the issue (no hills, etc.). My roomate still rode his bike on the roads during the frigid and snow drenched upstate NY winters. He turned pro, I did not

No, you just put the bike as is onto the rollers. No modifications needed. It is a road bike specific thing though so if you try it with a mountain bike (or any tires with big treads) it will become really really loud.

V1's like to be mounted high, so regardless it will be high in the windshield. I'm going to have it hardwired in the M Coupe, and I may have a remote display put in the dash, but that's a year or two out yet (wheels, tires, and tinting coming this year). I'm going to be moving it about a lot in different cars. ~ H
