I have been known as the local gossip in the custom shirt making industy. Primarily because I have also had a fabric business and have sold to almost all of the shirmakers except the Custom shop when Mr. Levitt was there. He would not buy close out goods no matter how low the price. I could buy first quality 100/2 white broadcloth from Polo for $1.00 offer it to the Custom shop at 2.00 when mill price was $2.75 and he would still not buy it.
I would gladly go on about ths topic but a very beautiful woman is coming over to my apartment to share a bottle of wine with me.
Which should I do? Spend the next half hour typing out the history of custom shirtmakers in the USA or make sure my apartment is neat and the wine glasses are clean?
Maybe I will come up for air sometime tomorrow and sit at the computer.
