Not to worry, it's just friendly ball-busting. Many of us been around these parts for 10+ years. We stay for the abuse.

I’m an e-buddy with @Gibonius. He once helped me with a complicated eBay purchase of an expensive furniture piece. So yes I’m just busting his ballz for the lolz.

If given a chance I’d gobble up that smoked meat.

I also find some smokers are better at bark than others. Out of my four different smokers, nothing beats the Cook Shack.

Four smokers? That takes a dedicated man to his meat. Respect. 🫡

I've been thinking about getting a kamado for the pool deck. Do you use yours much?

If I had to go down to just one thing, it would be my Big Joe because it can truly do it all. That said, it's also the least "set it and forget it," and for things like grilling, takes longer to get ready than a Weber or something like my Linx (for obvious reasons.) Get the Billows/Signals combo from Thermoworks and much of this goes away. With that in place I can easily do a 12 hour smoke without refill (maybe drop an extra wood chunk or two in) and will get it up to grilling temps fast.

Thanks. We have a built-in Blaze Pro natural gas grill on the kitchen patio that I use all the time for quick and easy cooks. The kamado would be just for special occasion use, really. Might have to go for a BGE here in Atlanta though, as I drive past their HQ a couple times a week on the way out to the golf club.
