Wearing one of my latest Shibumi wool tie. View attachment 1267685
This isn't the best photo so some of my assumptions may be wrong. Lovely jacket and tie. I'm curious what pants you paired with them. Care must be taken to balance such a dark tie and light jacket. I can't tell what color the shirt is. It appears to be a light gray or maybe even a teal. I don't think it goes well with the tie and jacket. The collar on the shirt seems to big for you. You have a substantial negative tie space. I also think longer collar points that sat under your jacket would look better here. Lastly, I don't think the pocket square is adding much to the ensemble. These are only my opinions of course. You appear to be the best dressed person in the room. Wear in good health.

Well, thank you for your post.

First of all, the jacket is a light brown that appears lighter in this picture, the shirts is a pale blue and the tie (just in case) a navy (not really dark) blue. I wore mid grey wool trousers. I understand a full fit would be better but didn't think about that at the moment.

I agree about the shirt collar and the pocket square, PS wasn't the best choice here and I to be honest I was ok with that. Not the best again but still a pleasure to wear it (of course i consider your post to improve the next outfits, other POV are always welcome).

Thank you again for your comment, I will keep it in mind !

I would love a close up of the texture of the jacket. It looks really interesting.

It's a blue/charcoal boucle. Tie reads charcoal, but is actually a really dark brown/grey with some blue threads in it. Don't wear black shoes very much, so that pair sits and collects dust (literally). It's not the greatest combination in the world, but I had to come up with something to go with black shoes just so I could get them into the rotation.

Thanks again for the FC votes, gents. New Challenge will be up later this week and run for two weeks.

In the meantime, it was a cooler morning yesterday but a lovely afternoon in Old Blighty.
