Thanks again for the FC votes, gents. New Challenge will be up later this week and run for two weeks.

In the meantime, it was a cooler morning yesterday but a lovely afternoon in Old Blighty.

Can I ask? How long before Armistice Day is it customary to start wearing a poppy?

In hindsight, there wasn’t really enough space in the arms to layer with the cardigan, but it’s not quite cold enough for an overcoat yet.

I had a similar problem when I tried a cardigan layering with one of my coats. It seems super thin, but it made the sleeves tight and uncomfortable on that coat. I really like the look, but that cardigan doesn't get much wear. Same thing in a vest would be awesome.

That said, the look is great with that coat.

It's always teatime somewhere.

Brooks Brothers jacket and sweater vest, L L Bean OCBD shirt, Bow Tie Club tie, Rugby Ralph Lauren pocket square, Orvis cord trousers, Gold Toe socks, and Allen-Edmonds shoes.

For fans of "Piece-Of-A-Person" pictures, a piece of a person somewhere that serves tea in coffee pots picture.

For those keeping score at home, got up at 4:00am this morning and spent around three hours (on two different trains) to get here and then did the same again to get back to where I came from after having tea.
