Friday, and my first experience working with a new camera (the old one has been balky - constantly resetting itself). The new camera has greater sharpness of image, but we (Husband and I) are still learning its peculiarities, hence fewer than normal shots. I apologize.

Suit - Paul Stuart/Phineas Cole
Shirt - Ike Behar
Tie - Charvet
Braces - BB
Cufflinks - Penhaligon's
PS - Ashear
Boots - Cheaney
(Not shown, due to fuzzy photo - Overcoat - BB; scarf - Paul Stuart, Hat - Christys, via Fortnum & Mason)

Photo quality is fantastic, as is the fit. I'd love to get deets on the camera.

Thanks for the compliment on the attire, and the camera is a Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX10.

The suit, tie, shirt, and shoes are superb as always. But....... I would want to know more about that picture on the wall of the woman looking into the mirror.

The picture on the wall is a lithograph entitled "Between Life and Life", by the artist Will Barnet. The title, I believe, is derived from an Emily Dickinson poem.

I've be studying the same picture.
It's an interesting composition and signals solitude and lack companionship. She has to salute her mirror image; life and other people are an other place...
I really like it; emotional charged. The picture of Crusty and husband in shelf is a important comment; there we see two who have found each other, but the woman in the litho has only/barely found herself. Maybe that's why she looks sad; no one is complete without a companion...

Interesting insights. The juxtaposition of images was entirely accidental - the picture went over the sofa because it was the largest piece of art I own, and it fit the space best; the photo (from the Frick Museum Garden Party, 2015) was put on the etagere just because there was room for it there.

Color of the suit is a bit washed out in the first, though oddly the shirt and tie are about right. Suit color is about the average of the two pics.

To be honest I don't love today's fit, it's just... fine. I do quite like this tie and square, but the square has been surprisingly hard to find good uses for. It is beautiful on its own, the colors are exceptionally rich and saturated, but I find myself reaching for other stuff more.

Suit: R. Caruso
Shirt: TM Lewin
Tie: Chipp2 rust matka
Square: Hober madder paisley
Shoes: AE Macalister in oxblood

@everybody, guys can i ask a honest question? Why is everybody ignoring me? This is like the fourth time i am posting something and getting fully ignored, i am not asking for compliments, you can call my outfit utter crap, or give constructive criticism, I'd appreciate that. But being so ignored is kind of strange and hurtful tbh. Am i doing something wrong an i am not aware of it?
