Roy Al, I pretty consistently find myself with a good first impression of your combinations, but a look at the close-up reveals a fairly casual checked shirt fabric that spoils the look for me. Maybe this is your thing? But if you like checked shirts, maybe a smaller scale or subtler colors would improve the overall impression? YMMV, IMO, etc.

Thank @sugarbutch you for your reply and spending time to look into my outfit.
To me the weakest point today is not the shirt, which I think goes well with the suit. My main concern is the tie that doesn't blend in as I hoped.
A solid burgundy might have worked better. Navy would give too little contrast. Those were the two other options when putting together the stuff.

I wore the same shoes today. And looked not quite half as good doing so
For the toecap glossy shine effect, I might as well give you a quick tutorial, if you don't know this already. Assuming you have your wax based polish. Wrap one of your polishing clothes tightly around your finger and very gently apply a layer of wax polish on the toecap surface you want to bring a high shine to. Dampen the extreme of the cloth you're polishing with in water and using a tiny bit more polish, work gently in circular motions into the leather using only your finger. The more subtle yet effective circular movements you make over the leather, the more of a shine you'll achieve. Keep insisting until you reach your desired level of shine. With the right wax polish and a bit of practice, your shoes will have the high-shine effect you're striving for. You would get there at your own pace, hopefully! LOL

Always dig your fits.

Thanks buddy. I sincerely appreciate your kind comment ;)
