Here's my entry in the great "Minnis 0656 Houndstooth Flannel" sweepstakes. First time out. There are some issues with the jacket that are bothering me, irritatingly the exact same issue as the last suit that Steed made for me. But it's wearable for now.

Red accessories for Chinese New Year.

Suit: Steed
Shirt: Proper Cloth
Tie: Harry White
Square: Sam Hober
Braces: Kent Wang
Shoes: Edward Green
Hat: Bates'

And, finally, my lovely photographer, resplendent in a formal jacket for CNY.

Thank you. She does, although not fluently and with a "heavy American accent".

Was able to get some good sunlight this morning at the office. The rain has finally stopped where I am thankfully.

The reason my right shirt cuff is not showing is that I wear some bracelets and sometimes they block the cuff from falling.

Suit: D'Avenza for Gieves and Hawkes
Shirt: Luciano Barbera
Tie: Les Copains
PS: Kent Wang
Shoes: Bexley
Nice combo you have here. That tie is great.

@Andy57 That is a nice suit, but something is going on at the buttoning, and isn't the jacket et bit too long?
The pleats might be too spread; are the waist too tight for you?
Have the sleeves been shortened?

I agree, there is something going on at the buttoning point. It's a single button design and the lapels don't roll right to the button point. Not sure what that is all about. In my experience, though, that is something that might settle out, certainly with heavier cloths I've found that to be true. But it's also true that the left-to-right balance of the jacket is off. That does cause some pulling when the jacket is buttoned. I expect that I'll have to return the jacket to Steed at some point to rectify that. I'll be seeing them in a couple of weeks and this will be a topic of conversation.

The jacket is not a bit too long.

Not sure how to respond about the pleats. I don't think they're too spread when I'm just standing straight. The trousers have no waistband, which might exaggerate what you're seeing. I'll look into that, though.

The sleeves have not been shortened.

Thanks @RFHansen ! I think that tie actually came in a lot that I bought off eBay many years ago when I was first trying to build up a wardrobe but I am only appreciating it of recent.
