Nice suit and can you tell me what fabric it is?
I think a dark blue tie would be much better.

@DonCologne , red ties with brown suits was fairly common in early 20th Century American fashion illustration. I think it was one of those (as Don King might say) "Only in America" things.

Yeah I like the texture of the suit too Theo. Red tie looks fine to me.

Oh and @brovsko - nice look again, are the strides blue or gray, they seem to change from pic to pic?

New suit..A couple weeks ago or so, @Anden posted a brown suit from Caruso Parma that really inspired me..I had been looking for a brown biz suit for a while for work but it proved elusive...then I saw one at an affordable price from Caruso Parma..however there was not that much on here about the label.. I do have another Caruso made suit that fits so well but I was still unsure.. so I sat on it for almost a year.. after seeing Andens current posts of Parma suits I said what the heck and went for it..Im glad I did..the feel is awesome..it fits well (did have to do some work) but it feels awesome now.. and its still pretty conservative for my work environment..its a 3R2 with built up chest and shoulder line and open quarters..one of my current staples now...

SUIT: Caruso Parma

SHIRT: Finamore Napoli

TIE: Robert Talbott..

SHOES: Silvano Sassetti

P.S: Santostefano

Lapel Pin: Nordstrom
VERY NICE!!! Is that a 32R Suit?

^ Yup. The Vass U-cap seems pretty common for them. NMWA has a version. I just asked for it on the F last to make it a bit dressier. And requested a more rounded version of the U, which I've seen on other pairs. Sometimes they do it with straighter lines. Came out pretty well, if I do say so myself.

Sander has enlightened me on the pink Attolini matter. I have been laughing a lot ever since.

Hey, as a relative newcomer here, don't keep the rest of us in the dark!

A long time ago a member was selling a pink Attolini cashmere tie on the old B&S subforum. In the course of the sale he hiked the price somewhat, breaking the rules. That gave rise to an epic SF thread / struggle.

At some point Spoo got hold of that tie (or at least a similar one) and it returned to SF with a bang, verifying Nietzsche's hypothesis of eternal recurrence of the same.

It's a tie that keeps on giving.
